About

Abdullahi Jaranow, LMHCA

As a clinically trained therapist and clergy, I aim to provide culturally competent and client-centered counseling. My identity of being black, immigrant, and Muslim enables me to value the unique journey of every individual I serve. My approach is personalized, holistic, and family-centered. I value the stories of every client. I create a supportive environment that embraces all identities, and I help my clients navigate their mental health journeys with confidence, using evidence-based practices and cultural competency.

Fun facts about me:

• I’ve been married for nearly twenty years and am a father of four children.

• I serve in both clinical and spiritual settings.

• I’ve memorized the Quran by heart.

• I’ve collaborated with various organizations: including the Seahawks and Cigna Health.

• In my work with BIPOC communities, I’ve led initiatives and received grants for Community Health and Youth Programs.

• I have extensive experience working with youth, couples, and families.
